Equal Opportunity Day Dinner

The Urban League of Portland is proud to announce that Portland native Warren M. Washington, Ph. D., a pioneer in the science of climatology and meteorology, will be the keynote speaker at the 2010 Equal Opportunity Day Dinner, November 4th. Dr. Washington is the senior scientist and head of the Climate Change Research Section in the Climate and Global Dynamics Division at the National Center for Atmospheric Research. Years before climate change was part of everyday language, he was at the forefront of climate research working to develop modeling and knowledge on the earth’s climate.
