Rent Well Virtual Workshops are designed to educate and help our community become successful tenants.
In this workshop you will learn your rights, address barriers, and learn how budget and search for your home. Participants will create a personalized housing portfolio to present to potential landlords and also will receive a copy of their rental background report. Rent Well graduates are eligible to receive a Landlord Incentive Fund which is paired with the Rent Well graduation certificate. If a participant leaves their rental unit within the first year and owes unpaid rent, damages, or legal fees beyond what the security deposit covers, the program will pay the landlord up to a certain amount to cover those additional costs. In Oregon, the guarantee is up to $5,000 beyond the security deposit. This funding can be the difference between a denial and approval. Please support your participants with registering.
