We are looking for a B2B marketing manager who is passionate about helping C&I customers address their climate goals. Reporting to the director of corporate and C&I marketing, you will help strengthen 3Degrees’ market position, support lead generation efforts of our sales team as well as manage brand building efforts for the company.

As part of a team that includes designers and analysts, you will work on a range of marketing activities including the design, development and execution of drip marketing campaigns, the evolution of the firm’s digital presence (including SEO, SEM, and social) as well as other demand generation and corporate marketing activities.


Specifically, the marketing manager will support three main areas:

1) Demand Generation

  • Create and implement marketing plans designed to build demand for 3Degrees products and services using a variety of channels such as direct mail, outbound email, social media, SEM, events and more
  • Use marketing automation tools to develop drip marketing campaigns to increase the quantity and quality of marketing qualified leads (MQLs)
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and best practices for all marketing initiatives
  • Use internal and external data to build differentiated messaging based on key industry segments and buyer personas

2) Content Strategy and Development

  • Create a content strategy and calendar for our key products and services
  • Execute on the strategy, building content to move people through the sales funnel, including articles, blog posts, infographics, video
  • Develop and execute content promotion strategies including media relations, social media, SEM, partnerships, etc
  • Measure the effectiveness of content types, adjusting strategies as needed

3) Project Management

  • Act as both gatekeeper and conductor to ensure that all projects and materials are delivered to specification, on time and on brand
  • Utilize project management software to ensure all internal stakeholders are informed of calendar, requirements and nuances of every project
  • Participate in annual and quarterly planning sessions with key 3Degrees staff to ensure marketing priorities and proper allocation of resources


  • 6 years’ experience in strategic marketing planning and execution with a clear progression of  responsibility
  • At least 3 years’ experience working with a common marketing automation tool (Pardot preferred)
  • Proven ability to develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns, combining strategy and execution
  • Ability to write compelling, on-brand and error-free content for a variety of mediums including social, direct mail, email, advertising, newsletters
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Superb communication skills both written and verbal: able to summarize complex issues and into succinct and actionable insights
  • Experience analyzing marketing campaign performance and making recommendations to improve performance
  • Professional working experience with Google for Business Apps and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in SEO, SEM and WordPress is highly desirable
  • Highly motivated self-starter who has a strong work ethic and is able to multi-task
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field, with a master’s degree preferred
  • Sense of humor (highly encouraged, though not required)
