This position will work at the administrative location in NE Portland, Lloyd Center area. The position will be a part of a dynamic, dedicated, and collaborative HR team and work closely with the staff development team. Standard work are hours will be between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm PST.
The Workforce Development Administrator is responsible for developing and managing Cascadia’s Internship Program and Loan Repayment opportunities. The employee will also create a Volunteer Program after the other areas are complete. The Workforce Development Administrator will support implementing new and redesigned opportunities for community members to connect with Cascadia through an internship or volunteer opportunity, as well as create effective relationships with universities and colleges. Additionally, this position will facilitate school loan repayment opportunities, offered through the greater community, to Cascadia employees. With the high prevalence of trauma among individuals receiving mental health services, it is required Workforce Development Administrator understand the effects of trauma on health, coping, and other aspects of the lives of those we serve.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field preferred.
Four years of progressive experience on project work and policy development.
Equivalent combination of education/experience in a mid to large size office environment, preferably in a non-profit organization.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of program development is preferred
Operate computer hardware and software at a level needed to effectively perform job functions
MS Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel
Accurately enter data and retrieve dataPrepare reports
Ability to commute to various Cascadia sites and community locations as needed.
