The City of Portland Bureau of Parks & Recreation is seeking a results-oriented Professional Repair & Maintenance Services (PRMS) Manager. This key leadership position oversees the team and program for the repair and preventative maintenance of a diverse portfolio of assets within a large, urban parks and recreation system. To be effective, the Manager must have the ability to strategically allocate limited resources to maintain Park assets in the best condition possible for Portlanders. The PRMS Manager must also help prepare an estimated $10 million-dollar annual budget based on data driven decision making as well as actively manage and monitor this budget throughout the fiscal year. The selected candidate will manage five non-represented positions (including supervisors and an analyst) overseeing approximately 45 represented staff in the skilled trades, heavy equipment, and maintenance areas. This position requires communication and collaboration with a broad range of disciplines at various levels within the organization, from Parks senior management to front-line staff.
