The Community Solar Program Coordinator will provide administrative and program support as part of Energy Trust’s Renewable Energy group, and will serve as core staff in the new Oregon Community Solar Program (CSP). Major job functions are expected to evolve with the program, but will include task management and coordination, development and maintenance of internal program processes, project evaluation support, customer service, and project manager and stakeholder coordination, among other responsibilities.



In collaboration with colleagues, process and review applications for program registration, pre-certification, and certification, and implement internal processes to confirm project managers’ good standing within the program and the enrollment status of program subscribers.

Support the Community Solar Program Manager in coordinating a diverse range of program activities and ensuring their timely implementation, including completing daily, time-sensitive work associated with operating the community solar program such as including meeting coordination, organization of records and files, materials preparation, note taking, and procedural oversight.

Coordinate with and support the oversight of the program customer call center, including tracking and responding to customer and stakeholder questions, resolving escalated complaints, and collaborating with the OPUC consumer protection division, when needed.
Support the Community Solar Program Manager in maintaining relationships with, and coordinating activities among, and providing communities to program administration partners, OPUC staff, utilities, and external stakeholders.

Develop, review, and refine program forms, manuals, training materials and other legal and compliance documents and tools.

Perform additional administrative, outreach, customer service, or research tasks as requested.

Perform all functions of the job in a safe manner.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience – or equivalent experience- preferred.
2 years’ experience in program administration, project coordination, or related experience.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word software applications, working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent coordination and organization skills, with high level of attention to detail.
Ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
Highly self-motivated and accustomed to working in a fast-paced team-based environment.
Customer service experience preferred.
Basic technical understanding of solar energy systems preferred.
Must be able to interact with a diverse workforce and be comfortable working in culturally diverse settings and groups.
