InsideTrack is passionate about student success. Since 2001, we have been dedicated to partnering with colleges and universities to create adaptive coaching solutions that generate measurable results. These solutions combine professional coaching, technology and data analytics to increase enrollment, completion, and career readiness. Our adaptive coaching methodology is based on the latest behavioral science research and knowledge gained from working with more than 1.5 million students and 1,600 programs. In combination with our uCoach® Platform, our approach optimizes student engagement and generates valuable insights on the student experience through predictive modeling, behavioral analysis and multichannel communication.

More about the Flex team

The Flex team at InsideTrack is a pool of qualified professionals who are interested in being involved in the work that InsideTrack is doing to improve the lives of students, but aren’t looking for a full-time work commitment.  As a member of the flex team, you are a compassionate, thoughtful and engaging person, looking to supplement your income with additional work hours, or simply to earn a little extra on the side while you engage in other life pursuits.  The flex team is not designed to be a primary source of income for its members.

We created this flexible team because the number of students we work with fluctuates regularly, depending on the time of year or specific initiatives.  We want to ensure that we’re able to match excellent professionals with those teams.  Being part of the flex team means we will often reach out to you on short notice with available hours, and that you have the freedom to accept or decline an assignment based on your current availability.  The flexibility goes both ways.

Here is an overview of how the Flex Team operates:

InsideTrack will interview, hire and train qualified applicants to be a member of the flex team
You will be classified as a temporary, part-time employee with the company.  This means that:
You are on InsideTrack’s payroll, and receive paychecks from us for hours worked, according to the company pay schedule
You must be eligible for employment in the United States
We will provide you with training, as well as a company laptop
Your employment is at-will, meaning either you or the company can end the employment relationship, with or without cause or notice
You’ll need to sign an Employee Confidential Information and Inventions Assignment Agreement upon hire, that essentially says you will not take company proprietary information to compete with InsideTrack (note: in the vast majority of cases, having your own coaching business does not violate this agreement.  If you have questions, just ask)
You will not be eligible for company-sponsored benefits; however, part-time employees do accrue sick hours at the rate of one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked.
The rate of pay for the flex team is $20/hour
Flex assignments are between 15 and 28 hours per week, and can last anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 months.
Flex team members can perform their work from home/remote
Times worked will in many cases depend on the needs of the client university and their student population, but are typically Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm
Team members are free to decline an assignment if it doesn’t work for them logistically with no consequences on future assignments
Our pledge is to be open and forthcoming with flex team members about the availability of upcoming work, and we expect team members to be open and forthcoming with us about their availability.  We will maintain regular contact with you so that when opportunities arise, we can get you set up quickly.  With that understanding in mind, we look forward to working with you as part of our flex team!
