Jubitz has an opening for a Credit and Collection Specialist in our Credit Department. This role will process credit applications and customer payments, contact past-due customers, ensure accurate and detailed records for reporting and compliance, while minimizing bad debt losses.

Work independently within well-structured guidelines of accepted credit department practices and procedures. Provide Jubitz customers with professional and timely customer service, while evaluating credit applications, helping to improve collections and minimizing risk.


Review invoices and other charges for appropriateness.
Work with Credit Manager on charges that may need adjustment.
Request billing adjustments according to policy.
Review customer files on a routine basis to ensure that credit limits are sufficient.
Process customer payments.
Document all customer call history and activity.
Alert Credit Manager for possible “red flag” issues.
Process new customer account applications, including gathering data, checking references, and obtaining credit bureau reports.
Communicate credit issues and concerns with the Credit Manager


Minimum of 1-year credit or collections experience preferred.
Bilingual fluency (Spanish/English) is preferred.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills, plus knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Experience handling inbound and outbound calls.
Strong customer service skills.
Basic to intermediate computer skills to include Microsoft Office products, and accounting software.
Ability to calculate figures using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
Strong attention to detail to ensure proper ordering of merchandise, reconciling of invoices, and counting of inventory.
Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing with the ability to write routine reports and correspondence in a professional manner.
Self-motivated and able to complete tasks without constant direction.
Maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
