The Position

Living Room Realty is seeking to fill our Bookkeeping position to help take our business to the next level.


Invoice Brokers monthly
Invoice tenants of Owner’s entities monthly
Pay bills
Process commission checks
Prepare commission spreadsheets
Research, compile, and submit various business insurance applications, renewals, etc.
Collaborate with the business manager and accountant
Conduct all bookkeeping for the Company and Owner’s entities, including reconciliations, Profit & Loss reports, and other reports as needed
Assist in drafting as well as monitoring, managing and updating budget(s) per Owner and Management Team
Process and issue 1099s and year-end reports for Brokers and Company
Represent LRR’s Core Values through various communications with vendors, clients, and agents
Create tickler timings and actively track all licensing dates, agent contract renewals and other important dates
Improve and maintain electronic and paper file organization and storage for all important documents, including individual Broker and Staff files
Collect and file time sheets from all non-exempt employees
Manage and report payroll, Paid Time Off (PTO) usage, and 401(k) distributions for staff
Participate in the on-boarding of Company employees by preparing tax and payroll documents, collecting signatures, and processing as needed
Establish and maintain proper employee records and tracking systems
Comfortable with using various internet portals (payroll, bank, vendor payments, industry, etc)
Research problems thoroughly to an accurate and timely accounting conclusion. Implement corrective measures as a go-forward procedural enhancement, asking for help whenever needed
Track Supplies and Inventory
Assist the Owner with projects, as needed


Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience required
Excel and Quickbooks experience required
Proven ability to meet goals and deadlines
Detail-oriented, highly organized
Strong oral and written communication, ability to communicate with diverse population
Experience with Apple computers required
BrokerWolf accounting software knowledge preferred
Transaction Point software knowledge preferred
RMLS software knowledge preferred
Experience with Gmail and Google Drive required
Must pass a background and credit check
