Salary: $20.59 – $26.06 hourly

Our Technical Services department is seeking a motivated, team-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline driven environment.
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this Maintenance Worker position performs skilled work in a variety of construction, maintenance, and operational functions, including such tasks as carpentry, painting, and general maintenance. This position plays a valuable role in ensuring our facility is well maintained and an inviting venue to all of our visitors.
The Oregon Convention Center (OCC), a LEED Platinum facility, is the largest convention center in the Pacific Northwest, hosting more than 12 million visitors since its opening in 1990. Annually hosting roughly 500 events with an average of $550 million in economic benefit for the region from the national and international visitors who attend conventions and events at the facility.

Minimum of one year experience in general maintenance in a large public facility. Experience must include carpentry, painting and general maintenance; or any combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid driver’s license issued in the incumbent’s state of residency. Possession of, or ability to obtain, forklift certification, aerial work platform certification, and a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
