Salary: $13.44 – $17.48 hourly
This is an internal and a First Opportunity recruitment opportunity. This is a part-time position. Hours are based on the event schedule and generally range from 4 to 25 hours per month. Most shifts are on weekends and evenings.
The event receptionist position acts as the face of the OCC, often establishing the first contact with guests, exhibitors and clients. Event Receptionists provide internal and external customer service and general clerical support during events at Oregon Convention Center. Assigned duties may include: answer incoming calls, provide updated event information to patrons and staff, provide assistance for scooter and wheelchair rentals and perform other general clerical tasks.

A minimum of six months of experience in customer service or reception, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training that would provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the successful performance of the essential job duties, a high school diploma or GED.
