The Fine Print:
Multiple full- and part-time positions are available at two levels at Metro South Transfer Station (2001 Washington St., Oregon City). Temporary positions are expected to start in mid to late November 2019. Regular, benefited positions likely will open in early 2020. Temporary employees will be eligible to apply for regular positions as internal candidates.

These positions work outdoors in all types of weather. The transfer station is open 363 days per year from 3 a.m. to 7 p.m., so weekend and holiday work may be required.

Additional Requirements: You’ll also need to successfully complete a background check, and you’ll receive support from Metro and our partner organizations to earn some required certifications within your first 90 days on the job.
