Neighborhood House

The Opportunity:
Are you a mission-focused leader who enjoys taking on big projects, building strong organizational cultures that value equity, and facilitating strategic change?  As executive director of Neighborhood House, you will lead a team of people who care deeply about supporting our neighbors living in poverty.  Your exceptional leadership and management skills will ensure that Neighborhood House effectively fulfills its mission, working collaboratively both within the organization and with dozens of partners.  In the near term, your leadership will bolster the organization’s equity and inclusion work and build a common organizational culture following a recent merger with the Peninsula Children’s Learning Center.  Your keen financial management, strategic planning, and relationship building skills will see the organization through an expected period of exciting growth, which could include a capital campaign, new funding models, and the addition of affordable housing to NH’s portfolio.  The board and staff will appreciate your social justice values, approachability, and sense of humor.  Together, we’ll continue Neighborhood House’s legacy.

Mission / Organization:

Across the community and across its life span, Neighborhood House delivers innovative and life-changing programs for low-income people of all ages.  We believe that with the right support, people can overcome serious challenges.
