This employment opportunity is with the Public Health Division (PHD), Center for Public Health Practice (CPHP), Center for Health Statistics, which is part of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). There is one full-time, permanent position located in Portland (800 NE Oregon Street). This position is classified and represented by a union.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position performs specialized support functions for the registration and amendment of vital records. The employee must interact effectively with staff members from several units, as well as community partners, including medical certifiers and examiners, funeral services practitioners, and county registrars and clerks.
Two years of general clerical experience, one year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents;
An Associate’s degree in Office Occupations or Office Technology;
Graduation from a private school of business with a Certificate in Office Occupations or Office Technology and one year of general clerical experience.
