The Operations Manager oversees staffing and scheduling; monitors required training for operations staff; supports substitute staff; and devises strategies to create and support comprehensive and efficient store operations, including cleanliness, customer service, and store security.
This position also includes in-store co-management as a member of our worker collective. As a collective, we manage the Co-op in service to People’s member-owners and in line with the goals established by their elected stewards, the Board of Directors. In addition, the Co-op and collective are committed to fostering human rights, social and economic justice in our community and workplace. Every co-manager is responsible for fast and accurate cashiering and providing prompt, comprehensive and welcoming customer service according to the Storekeeper job description.
The open position is 34-38 hours per week.
