This position is responsible for ensuring inventory levels are maintained in a manner that meets District operational needs and is fiscally responsible. The work involves preparing and analyzing reports and improving processes related to purchasing and inventory control.
The ideal candidate works cohesively in a team-oriented environment. Curious-minded, the incumbent continuously asks why in an effort to analyze data and provide feedback on improving warehouse and supply processes. This position has an attention to detail and is resourceful, while maintaining the high standards of the District. Interacting with co-workers within and outside of the Supply department, the incumbent makes a conscious effort to be diplomatic, tactful, and patient. They may make adjustments to their work or interpersonal style depending on the situation or person, in their relationship building.
