Join the Urban League on #GivingTuesday

#GivingTuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back in support of organizations who seek to serve the greater good. This week, if you become a new or renewingmember of the Urban League of Portland at the $125 Advocate of Equality level, in addition to supporting one of the leading voices for people of color in the region, you’ll receive two 100-level tickets to the “Urban League Community Night” at the Portland Trail Blazers game vs the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, January 20th as a special thank you.

Our work in the upcoming new year will continue to benefit and influence the community as we strive to empower African Americans and others to achieve equality in education, employment, health, economic security, and quality of life.

Your membership supports:

After School Program Multicultural Senior Center
High quality after school programs that help increase high school completion and promote self esteem and cultural pride among African American youth by providing extra academic support through homework clubs, leadership development, post-secondary education workshops and community service opportunities. The State of Black Oregon report, which breaks new ground in presenting the intersection of issues affecting the health and progress of Black communities. It’s a roadmap to address longstanding inequities in employment, education, housing, health, criminal justice and wealth creation – and to pave the way for success. One of the only culturally specific African American senior programs in the state. We offer services and activities that allow our elders to remain independent, safe and active in their own homes, and engaged in our community and our Multicultural Senior Center operates as a hub for active seniors in Portland.

Your membership matters.
