The Urban League of Portland is beginning work to produce an updated version of its seminal report, 2009’s State of Black Oregon. This version, due in late 2014, will be an updated report on the disparities between African Americans and the majority population in the state based on key social and economic indicators. Our report will measure the relative status of African Americans versus other Oregonians in health, education, economic opportunity, criminal justice, and many other social and economic indicators. We want to hear from the community about how the relevant the 2009 State of Black Oregon report was to you, and what you’d like to see in the updated version. This 5 question survey should take no more than 5-10 minutes, and your input will be invaluable to our agency and to the community as a whole.
Thank you so much for your help!
