Last Thursday, we announced the addition of four new board members to our organization.

Bob Cook draws on 25 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, credit analysis, business development and coaching and leadership positions. He leads a team of Commercial Client Managers across the Northwest who work with business owners and management teams to understand their organizations and businesses and proactively provide strategic advice and integrated financial solutions that help their clients succeed.
He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a B.S in Finance, holds a certificate in Personal Financial Planning from UCLA Extension and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
He is currently a Board Member of Financial Beginnings and is actively involved in Scouting.

Trail Blazers Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Engagement, Michael Lewellen, APR, has directed the Trail Blazers’ corporate communications, business communications and public engagement strategies since 2012.
His role also includes leadership of public and civic affairs, and media communications concerning Rip City Management, Moda Center, Rose Quarter and Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Lewellen’s award-winning career over the past 30-plus years includes senior positions with Nike, Turner Sports, Fox Sports Net, Black Entertainment Television, NBC Universal, Heart of Florida United Way and other iconic brands in media strategies, reputation management, sports and entertainment publicity, crisis response and brand communications.
Lori Morgan, MD, MBA
Chief Administrative Officer
Legacy Emanuel Medical Center
Dr. Morgan is the Chief Administrative Officer of Legacy Emanuel Medical Center. She is a board certified trauma surgeon and intensivist. She received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, did a General Surgery Residency at Stanford University Medical Center, and a trauma/critical care fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. She received her M.B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University.
Dr. Morgan is the chair of the State Trauma Advisory Board for Oregon and serves on the Board of Directors for LifeFlight Network.
Community Relations and Corporate Responsibility
Karis is a native of Portland, a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy; alumnus of Saint Mary’s College of California and recipient of a master’s degree from Washington State University in Vancouver.
Karis directs Community Relations and Corporate Responsibility at Moda Health. Her focus is to develop, direct and implement Moda’s community engagement strategy and action plan. Prior to joining to Moda Health, Karis was the Corporate Relations Officer with Legacy Health Foundations. She was responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive corporate giving program, including sponsorships, workplace giving, restricted and capital gifts and in-kind donations for all six Legacy hospitals.
