The Urban League of Portland’s Summer Youth Employment Program for Middle School students is a four week summer program designed to equip African American youth and other youth to meet workforce demands. This year’s program for Middle School program will take place from 8:30am to 4:30pm, M-F July 30 – August 17, 2018.
The Urban League of Portland’s Youth Summer Program for Middle School students consist of three weeks of programming including: The Urban League of Portland’s pre-camp. Leadership Curriculum, Community-based activities and 4-H Diversity Summer (sleep away) Camp in West Salem. Admitted youth are required to attend all three weeks of the program. Sleep away camp in Salem, Oregon with Urban League of Portland staff and chaperones August 7-11, 2018.
