In April, we hosted a series of Virtual Candidate Forums for the 2024 Primary Election. Several of the events were co-hosted by the Urban League of Portland and other community groups! Each event was moderated by a community member; with questions on a range of topics including culture, health, economics, housing, and other current concerns. The Meet the Candidate Forums can help you prepare for the Primary Election on May 21st. Learn about the candidates on your ballot and hear what they have to say about topics related to our community. The deadline to register for the Primary Election was April 30th and election day is May 21st. To register to vote and/or update our voter registration, please visit the Oregon Secretary of State’s Elections Division by clicking here.

April 19th: Due to logistical challenges, we decided to cancel the 5th District Representative Primary forum scheduled for April 19th.
