We invite you to our 3rd Urban League for All of Us Community Conversation - Southern Oregon! Please save the date of August 23rd. This event will be co-hosted by our President and CEO, Nkenge Harmon Johnson, Artistic Director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival Nataki Garrett, and Ashland City Councilor Gina DuQuenne in Southern Oregon. The theme of the event will be the rise of white Nationalism in the state of Oregon and its impact on Southern Oregon. We will also be honoring community champions who are doing dynamic work to advance the movement forward. Please register for this event as it will be offered both in person and virtually! August 23rd 6-7 pm at Southern Oregon University, the specific location will be sent out the day before the event.

Registration will be capped at 35 attendees, if you have questions you may email us directly at: ace@ulpdx.org. We will confirm your spot and send the room location 48 hours before the event. Due to the rise of COVID cases we are asking folks to be vaccinated and to wear a mask if attending in-person.  

Following our Community Conversation event, we will be attending the preview for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s play, Confederates, at 8 pm. Please consider attending the preview and tickets can be purchased here.
