You're Invited! Celebrating 80 Years of Empowerment at the 2025 Equal Opportunity Day Awards Dinner

Secure your tickets now for the 80th Anniversary Equal Opportunity Day Awards Dinner (EOD), happening September 20, 2025, at the Portland Art Museum. This year’s theme — Homecoming: Celebrating 80 years of Impact — is a joyful nod to tradition, unity, and the incredible progress made by our communities across Oregon and Southwest Washington.

For 80 years, the Urban League of Portland has been at the forefront of advancing equity and justice. This celebration will honor the individuals, organizations, and visionaries who help us empower Black communities through housing stability, financial empowerment, workforce development, senior services, youth leadership, health advocacy, and more.

Expect an evening of inspiration, celebration, and connection:

  • Enjoy a powerful program with words from our President & CEO, Nkenge Harmon, as we reflect on our impact and recommit to the work ahead.

  • Celebrate local champions who are creating lasting change in our region.

  • Experience the joy of Homecoming — a celebration of Black culture, excellence, and community pride.

New this year:
This year, we’re adding something extra — an EOD After Party hosted by the Urban League Young Professionals. Whether you join us for the dinner, the party, or both — this is a night you don’t want to miss.
