Our Voices United: A Success
Our Voices United Legislative Action Day was a hit. On February 17, Urban League staff and engaged community members traveled to Salem to have our voices heard. We interacted with lawmakers, and experienced what it was like to watch the hands of our legislative branch at work. Some of our special guests included State Representative Janelle Bynum, as well as Senators Lew Frederick and James Manning, Jr. We would like to thank all of you who joined us at the event; especially Jack & Jill of America and The Deltas.
