Make sure to get your tickets to join us on October 3rd at 6:30 p.m. at the Kridel Grand Ballroom of the Portland Art Museum, as we explore this year’s theme: Art is a Movement.
Art inspires. Art is a truth teller. And deep in the fabric of the Black community, art is a powerful social adhesive that buoys and strengthens our collective resolve as we push toward equal opportunities for everyone in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Art is an undeniable movement for social change.
For the first time, we will host our Equal Opportunity Day Awards Dinner at the Portland Art Museum to celebrate visual expression in the Black Community. We will honor Black and other literary and visual artists. We will also hear from President & CEO Nkenge Harmon Johnson as she reflects on the substantial growth of services the Urban League provides.
Proceeds from the dinner fund vital Urban League programs in our community, including housing assistance, workforce development, youth leadership, and senior services.
On October 3, let’s create a movement of our own. Purchase your tickets now!
