Annual Meeting Thank You

Thank you for joining us at this year’s Annual Membership Meeting! We’re incredibly grateful to our dedicated community members, partners, and donors for showing up, sharing space, and helping us celebrate 80 years of service to Black Oregonians.

For eight decades, the Urban League of Portland has delivered life-changing programs rooted in equity, justice, and love for our people. The Annual Membership Meeting is more than just a gathering—it’s a moment to reflect on the impact we’ve made together and cast a vision for where we’re headed.

Here’s just a glimpse of what we've accomplished this past year:

• We helped over 300 adults and families secure stable housing and supportive services.

• We hosted over 800 culturally specific activities at our Senior Center.

• We empowered more than 500 individuals and families through financial education, parenting support, youth leadership, and more.

These milestones are worth celebrating—but we know the work isn’t finished.

Empowering communities statewide takes commitment, and your continued support makes it possible. If you haven’t already, we invite you to renew your membership or make a gift today. When you give $500 or more in a year, you’ll be welcomed into our Whitney M. Young Jr. Giving Society, honoring our most generous supporters.
